Advocacy
Here at the NWA Center for Equality, our advocacy activities are based on the basic human principal that all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people deserve the right to live a life that is free from intolerance, hatred, and discrimination.
The LGBTQ Advocacy movement started back in 1969 with the Stonewall Riots and
we are committed to continue it on today until there is equality for all of us.
At the Center we stand up for our beliefs in equal rights through campaigns, protests, LGBTQ issues awareness activities, remembrance days, and tabling at local events. Check out the navigation menu to the left to learn of some of our advocacy work. We'd love to have you get involved!
